CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION
Texas Surgical Assistants must complete 36 hours of continuing education every 24 months to maintain a Texas medical license. The credits may be earned in formal or informal CME activities of which two (2) credits in formal CME must be designated for ethics and/or professional responsibility content.
